The Festival of Storytelling will take place from 24 July to 13 August and will feature a wide range of free daytime activities, storytelling sessions, literacy-themed art pieces created by local schools and youth groups, a storytelling trail around the Cathedral, and special performances and immersive experiences that will take you further into the wonderful world of storytelling.
The Festival of Storytelling is designed to be an inclusive and welcoming experience for all, whether you are a lifelong lover of stories or just discovering their power for the first time. Throughout the festival, you will have the opportunity to explore the rich history of Portsmouth Cathedral, the city, and the people who have lived here over the past 800 years, all while immersing yourself in the world of storytelling.
Tickets
You can book tickets for all ticketed events from our website on the individual event pages, or from the Cathedral Shop. Please note some tickets may be subject to booking fees for both card and cash payments.
Tickets for workshops can be purchased on the day with cash or card, or with a Festival Pass, giving you access to all workshop events listed for a single price.
