For events organised by Portsmouth Cathedral - your e-ticket will be sent to you around seven days before the event date from noreply@simpletix.com – please check your junk and spam folders as they can sometimes end up in there. It’s worth checking your account to ensure your email address has been spelled correctly. If you have any problems, please get in touch.
For events organised by external promoters, please check the booking page for contact informaiton and get in touch with the promoter directly. Portsmouth Cathedral offices are unable to assist with any bookings not made via our sales channel SimpleTix, and will only be able to refer you to the promoters contact details for assistance.
Discounts are available for selected events, either through a coupon code or by purchasing a set number of tickets as part of a multi-ticket offer.
Your discount amount varies by event and will be calculated as you add tickets to your basket.
Selected discounts may only be available online, and can't be redeemed via phone or in-person bookings.
Most events at the Cathedral are arranged by external promoters and organisers, therefore how you book can vary from event-to-event. For most events, you can book online by clicking the 'Book tickets' button on event pages - this will take you to the organisers booking platform.
We are unable to book tickets over the phone via the Cathedral offices for externally organised event, and are unable to assist with ticketing enquiries. Please check the booking page, where contact informaiton for organisers can be found who will be able to assist with specific enquiries relating to your booking.
For events organised by Portsmouth Cathedral, we use the platform SimpleTix, and can accept bookings online, via the phone, and from our shop. Pre-booking online is recommended for most events, and there’s no need to print your e-ticket – just show the QR code on your phone upon entry.
Some free events don't require a ticket. If an event is labelled 'Free', with no booking options available - simply turn up on the day!
If you don't receive your e-ticket: Your e-ticket will be sent to upon purchase before the event date from noreply@simpletix.co.uk. If you don't receive your e-ticket, and it's not in your junk or spam folder, please get in touch.

We accept all major credit cards and Portsmouth Cathedral gift vouchers for selected events. Please do not email credit card details to us.
You can pay or donate with contactless payment in our shop and designated donation points.
For events organised by Portsmouth Cathedral, yes - just get in touch with the team at events@portsmouthcathedral.org.uk. Please note there is a £5 per ticket administration fee per change, per ticket to process any exchanges or seat moves.
For events organised by external promoters, their policies for changes to existing bookings will vary - please get in touch with the contact details found on your booking confirmation email, or on the booking page.
A number of our spaces are available to hire for events, meetings, and private functions. Get in touch to find out more about venue hire.
As standard, we do not offer refunds on tickets unless an event has sold out; in some circumstances, we may be able to resell your ticket to a waiting list. This service is offered to the original purchaser of the tickets only, and there is a transaction fee of £5 per ticket to cover administration of the transfer.
All return requests must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the show time originally booked.
On selected events, a limited number of concession tickets are available for: recipients of Universal Credit or Pension Credit, full-time students, and under-16s.
Concession tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once they've sold out, no further concession tickets are available by any method of booking.
Concession prices may not apply to top-price tickets for certain events, discounts can't be combined, and you'll be asked for suitable identification on admission.
For events run by an external promoter, they may set their own concessions policy, please check the event page for details.
As standard, doors open for all our events and concerts 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
This varies for selected events depending on individual promoter/organiser policy - please check your tickets for specific door opening times.
Please note the time displayed on our website and your ticket is the start time of the event, not the door opening time - please ensure you arrive in good time before the start time, as we are not able to accept late-comers due to the layout of our venue.
