Please note there is no on-site parking at Portsmouth Cathedral, this includes no disabled parking, and on-street parking around Old Portsmouth is extremely limited.
We advise making use of public transport options when visiting for sightseeing, services or events - with major transport interchanges a short walk away.
Pay-and-display car parks are available a short walk away at Clarence Pier, and Southsea Common. Parking is also available at Gunwharf Quays - around a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral. If you are attending an event or service, please leave enough time to arrive, as parking is often limited during - especially so most evenings and weekends.
If you do need to drive to the cathedral, please be considerate of our neighbours and residents - ensuring not to block driveways or access.
We provide bike racks at the Cathedral - so why not make the most of Portsmouth's flat terrain and cycle to the Cathedral!
