Ensemble Concertante is an exciting clarinet quartet composing Robert Blanken, Jennie Flatman, Naomi Rides and Spencer Bundy. Their programme will include a broad palette of styles from classical, jazz and contemporary music that have delighted and moved audiences all over the country. This recital will be in St Thomas’s Chapel.

As standard we do not charge booking fees online, over the phone or for in person transactions. Some events may charge a booking fee is applicable, if this is the case will be shown on the event page and in event publicity materials.
Booking fees are sometimes charged to cover payment processing and booking system costs.
For some events organisers or promoters separate from Portsmouth Cathedral may use external booking facilities - of which we have no control on fees charged via these platforms.

In most cases, if your event was cancelled or rescheduled, you are entitled to a refund. You should receive an email informing you of the cancellation/rescheduling with a link to our refund request form.
Events organised by Portsmouth Cathedral
As each order has to be refunded manually, it can take some time to work through. Once your refund has been completed, you’ll receive an email from us via our booking and payments provider.
We ask that customers allow 28 days, but in most cases refunds are processed much more quickly than this - often in 2-3 working days.
Events organised by external promoters
We will liaise with external organiser and promoters when an event is reshcedulled or cancelled to ensure appropriate informaiton is being shared with ticket purchasers - however, we have no control over tickets not purchased through our own ticketing platform SimpleTix.
If you have any queries regarding a change to an event, please contact the event promoter directly via the event booking page where contact details can be found, or in your original booking confirmaiton email.

On selected events promoted by Portsmouth Cathedral, a limited number of concession tickets are available for the following:
- recipients of Universal or Pension Credit
- full-time students
- under-16s
Concession tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once they’ve sold out, no further concession tickets are available by any method of booking.
Concession prices may not be applicable on top-price tickets for certain events. Discounts can’t be combined, and you will be asked for suitable identification upon admission to the event.
Please note selected events by external promoters may have different concession structures of which we have no control over.

Toilet facilities are available in the North Cloister of the Cathedral, and in the foyer of Cathedral House. Accessible toilet facilities are available in both locations.
We do not operate cloakroom facilities at the Cathedral, please ensure to keep personal belongings with you at all times. Please do not bring large bags or suitcases with you during your visit.
We're a cashless site, so tickets and refreshments on the door can be paid for by card or contactless.
The Cathedral has no onsite parking; please make use of public transport options - of which we are a short walk from major train and bus interchanges. Parking is extremly limited around Old Portsmouth, and we have no dedicated disabled parking on site.

Please note there is no on-site parking at Portsmouth Cathedral, this includes no disabled parking, and on-street parking around Old Portsmouth is extremely limited.
We advise making use of public transport options when visiting for sightseeing, services or events - with major transport interchanges a short walk away.
Pay-and-display car parks are available a short walk away at Clarence Pier, and Southsea Common. Parking is also available at Gunwharf Quays - around a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral. If you are attending an event or service, please leave enough time to arrive, as parking is often limited during - especially so most evenings and weekends.
If you do need to drive to the cathedral, please be considerate of our neighbours and residents - ensuring not to block driveways or access.
We provide bike racks at the Cathedral - so why not make the most of Portsmouth's flat terrain and cycle to the Cathedral!

We accept all major credit cards and Portsmouth Cathedral gift vouchers for selected events. Please do not email credit card details to us.
You can pay or donate with contactless payment in our shop and designated donation points.

As standard, doors open for all our events and concerts 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
This varies for selected events depending on individual promoter/organiser policy - please check your tickets for specific door opening times.
Please note the time displayed on our website and your ticket is the start time of the event, not the door opening time - please ensure you arrive in good time before the start time, as we are not able to accept late-comers due to the layout of our venue.

Age recommendations or restrictions can be found clearly stated on each event page.
Babes in arms and children under seven can't be admitted to classical music concerts and some other events, unless otherwise specified.
