As standard, we do not offer refunds on tickets unless an event has sold out; in some circumstances, we may be able to resell your ticket to a waiting list. This service is offered to the original purchaser of the tickets only, and there is a transaction fee of £5 per ticket to cover administration of the transfer.
All return requests must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the show time originally booked.

On selected events promoted by Portsmouth Cathedral, a limited number of concession tickets are available for the following:
- recipients of Universal or Pension Credit
- full-time students
- under-16s
Concession tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once they’ve sold out, no further concession tickets are available by any method of booking.
Concession prices may not be applicable on top-price tickets for certain events. Discounts can’t be combined, and you will be asked for suitable identification upon admission to the event.
Please note selected events by external promoters may have different concession structures of which we have no control over.

Portsmouth Cathedral does not operate a cloakroom, personal items must be kept with you at all times during your visit.

Discounts are available for selected events either through using a coupon code, or purchasing a set amount of tickets as part of a multi-ticket offer.
Your discount amount varies by event, and will be calculated as you add tickets to your shopping basket.
Selected discounts may only available online, and can not be redeemed via phone or in-person bookings.

Each event and service is different. If you see a blue 'Book Tickets' button on the event page, it means that you need to book a ticket.
If the event says Free under the title and there is no booking button, you don’t need a ticket and can just show up.
As standard, all our regular worship and services do not require booking. Some larger services may require booking and this will be shown on the event page.

For events organised by Portsmouth Cathedral - your e-ticket will be sent to you around seven days before the event date from noreply@simpletix.com – please check your junk and spam folders as they can sometimes end up in there. It’s worth checking your account to ensure your email address has been spelled correctly. If you have any problems, please get in touch.
For events organised by external promoters, please check the booking page for contact informaiton and get in touch with the promoter directly. Portsmouth Cathedral offices are unable to assist with any bookings not made via our sales channel SimpleTix, and will only be able to refer you to the promoters contact details for assistance.

Portsmouth Cathedral do not encourage the use of secondary ticketing websites and services. We may require the lead booker to attend (photo ID may be requested) for selected events. Tickets can only be sold by the Portsmouth Cathedral, the promoter of the event, or one of our ticketing partners.

Please note there is no on-site parking at Portsmouth Cathedral, this includes no disabled parking, and on-street parking around Old Portsmouth is extremely limited.
We advise making use of public transport options when visiting for sightseeing, services or events - with major transport interchanges a short walk away.
Pay-and-display car parks are available a short walk away at Clarence Pier, and Southsea Common. Parking is also available at Gunwharf Quays - around a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral. If you are attending an event or service, please leave enough time to arrive, as parking is often limited during - especially so most evenings and weekends.
If you do need to drive to the cathedral, please be considerate of our neighbours and residents - ensuring not to block driveways or access.
We provide bike racks at the Cathedral - so why not make the most of Portsmouth's flat terrain and cycle to the Cathedral!
