For many classical music concerts, the individual orchestras organise their own group rates, so you would need to contact these directly.

As standard we do not charge booking fees online, over the phone or for in person transactions. Some events may charge a booking fee is applicable, if this is the case will be shown on the event page and in event publicity materials.

Booking fees are sometimes charged to cover payment processing and booking system costs.

For some events organisers or promoters separate from Portsmouth Cathedral may use external booking facilities - of which we have no control on fees charged via these platforms.

For most of our events, tickets are sold on an unreserved basis, meaning you can sit wherever you would like (turn up early to guarantee the best seats).

Selected events may use reserved seating or sections, meaning the ticket you purchase will be restricted to a specific seat or seating section. If this is the case, you will be required to choose your seats from a chart or table during the booking process, and your seat number or section will be highlighted on your e-ticket.
