Useful informaiton
Our Group Guided Tour is an hour-long tour (50 minute tour, with 10 minutes for questions) with your own knowledge Guide.
This tour must be booked in advanced.*
These tours can take place any time from 10am – 4pm.
This tour does incur a charge, all profits go towards the work of the Cathedral.
All ages are welcome (please note there are no concessionary rates)
Accessibility – All areas are accessible via ramps. Please be aware of uneven surfaces. Large print resources are available. If you have any accessibility requirements, please make them known in your enquiry.
Please be advised all tours are subject to events beyond the Cathedral’s reasonable control that renders a tour impossible or impractical. Before booking, please ensure you read our terms and conditions below.

Booking
Group Guided Tours will be booked with the Cathedral at least one month prior to the date of the tour, if less time is provided booking is at the discretion of the Cathedral.
Group Guided Tours can be booked for a group of any size.
Please be advised if your group is larger than 20 people your group will be divided and assigned their own tour Guide.
Bookings are only confirmed once the contract has been signed by both Parties.
The Cathedral has no parking available; parking will need to be sourced by the attendees. Costings
Tours cost depends on the number of attendees, as per Clause 2.2.
For 1 - 20 attendees the cost of the tour is £11.50 per a person, if more than 20 this is reduced to £10 per a person, unless otherwise agreed with the Cathedral Chief Operating Officer.
No free places are provided for tours.
Cost will be agreed between the Parties and will be finally confirmed through the above contract particulars.
Profits from using any of the Cathedral’s facilities go towards the Cathedral’s mission which includes Worship, Music, Learning and Engagement.
Payment
Invoice will be sent for payment to be sent via BACs.
Agreement of attendee numbers must be made in writing three weeks before the tour.
Following clause 3.2 invoices will be addressed to and sent via email to the contact stated above.
Payment must be received 48 hours before the booking.
Cancellation or Amendments
The Cathedral have the right to cancel the booking at any time, if any of the above terms and conditions or condition particulars are broken.
Once attendees’ numbers are confirmed amendments can be made, after discussion with the Cathedral. This must be communicated in writing from the main contact. If payment has already been received a refund will be arranged, however if such amendment means numbers fall to 20 or less, a charging cost will be affected, see clause 2.2.
The tour date can be amended up to one week before the tour, but this is subject to the availability of the Cathedral.
If payment for the tour is not received 48 hours before the booking the Cathedral holds all rights to cancel the tour.
Once a booking has been made, with this contract agreed, cancellation can be made but the Cathedral must be notified at least 48 hours before the tour. A refund will be arranged, and the Cathedral will communicate directly with the main contact regarding time line.
Cancellation within the 48 hours before the tour are only acceptable in extenuating circumstances. The Cathedral must be contacted via phone on 023 9282 3300 as soon as possible. Any conversation will then be followed up with written communication. A refund will be at the discretion of the Cathedral.
Any tour is subject to an event beyond the Cathedral’s reasonable control that renders a tour impossible or impractical. In such an event, the Cathedral will communicate, in writing, with the main contact as soon as possible.
The Cathedral is not liable for any charges incurred from travel, pre-booked or not, if a tour has been cancelled.
For any amendments and cancellations listed in clauses 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5 and 4.7 both the main contact and Cathedral have a responsibility to communicate this in writing.
Termination due to Pandemic or Epidemic
In the event that a tour must be postponed or cancelled either directly or indirectly as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic or any similar epidemic or pandemic, this clause shall prevail over any other force majeure provision. In the case of possible abandonment or interruption by either the parties, both parties will co-operate in good faith with a view to agree a plan for resuming and/or rescheduling the tour, as far as may be reasonable.
