The Very Reverend Dr Anthony Cane became Dean of Portsmouth in March 2019. He is the most senior clergy person at the cathedral and the second most senior clergy person in Portsmouth’s Anglican diocese after the Bishop.

Harriet grew up worshipping in a cathedral community and first experienced a calling to priesthood as a teenager. She studied Music at university, followed by a Masters in History of Art, and worked in the arts and charity sector before training for ordination at Westcott House, Cambridge..

Jo served in the diocese of St. Albans for 15 years before moving to Portsmouth in September in 2015. She previously worked at Christian Aid and at St Paul’s Cathedral as a verger.

Nick advises parishes on engagement with their communities and engages with local authorities & other agencies.

David Price is Organist and Master of the Choristers at Portsmouth Cathedral. Before he came to Portsmouth he was Assistant Organist of Ely Cathedral having previously held Organ Scholarships at Rochester Cathedral and Croydon Parish Church.

Born in Derby, Sachin was trained as a chorister in Derby Cathedral Choir and studied organ under Dr Tom Corfield. Sachin read Classics at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, followed by a Master’s in Music at the Birmingham Conservatoire, under Henry Fairs and David Saint.

Catherine became Cathedral Curate in July and was ordained deacon on 10th October. She works at the Cathedral on Tuesdays, Thursdays and plus Sundays. The rest of the week she earns her living as a coach, helping newly promoted leaders start their roles well, and spiritual director.

Kitty is a licensed lay minister and regularly takes part in worship services. She also preaches and is part of the team leading discipleship and spirituality course for children, young people and adults.
