Good Wishes to our 2023 Choir Leavers

This week marks the end of the Choir Year. We give thanks for all that we've been able to achieve and thank a number of singers as they move on to new things...

Thanks and good wishes go to all our leaving Boy and Girl Choristers as they complete their time in choir. We thank them and their parents for all they have done to enhance our worship at the cathedral.

We thank Scholars Benedict, Emma, David, Sam, and Reuben for their terrific work over this academic year. We place huge demands on our Scholars in our choir as we no longer have a full complement of Lay Clerks, and they have risen to the task superbly.

Ally Ross, Counter-Tenor Lay Clerk, is also moving on at the end of this term. Ally's work with The Choir Church Project at St James Milton has come to and end and so he is moving to a new role as Music Lead at St Peter's Church Winchester which means his Lay Clerk role here also ceases - we thank Ally for all he has done as part of the Cathedral Choir team - for many terrific solos and unerring commitment to the music in this place.
