Appointment of additional Assistant Verger

Chapter is pleased to announce the appointment of additional Assistant Vergers and Precinct Officers.

We are in the final process of reviewing references and doing the necessary checks, but it is anticipated that one person will start on the 20 June and the other person on the 27 June. Once the onboarding processes have been completed we will announce more details about these new appointments.

One post is a permanent 30-hour per week post while the second is a 40-hour per week maternity cover for Malina Green. Malina has now started a well deserved rest in advance of the birth of her child later this month.

The Assistant Verger and Precinct Officer posts have a broad range of responsibilities including verging, supporting commercial and non commercial events and caring for the fabric of the Cathedral and Cathedral House.
