During Holy Week we are invited on a pilgrimage with Jesus, from the triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the desolation of Golgotha on Good Friday and then on into the eternal joy of Easter. The services of Holy Week contain some of the most ancient texts used in the Church, and help us to experience more fully the timeless mystery of God’s love for us, shown in the passion, death and resurrection of his Son.
The Dean is our preacher this year. His theme will be "Time Present and Time Past" - offering a series of reflections based on twentieth century poetic responses to time, war and hope. There will also be a creative installation "Stations of Light" for part of the week by Tom Heath, a former Choral Scholar here.
