All welcome to join Canon Kevin Arkell from Newport for the sermon in the series as part of our 2020 celebrations at Portsmouth Cathedral.

The Cathedral of the Sea is also the Cathedral Church of St Thomas of Canterbury. 2020 is the 850th anniversary of Becket’s martyrdom and the 800th anniversary of his translation of Canterbury, the new shrine becoming a focus for thousands of pilgrims.

As part of our 2020 celebrations at Portsmouth Cathedral we are inviting all parishes to join in a variety of pilgrimage days and activities during the year.
