Procession of Palms starting from Grand Parade, and Sung Passion marking the beginning of Holy Week.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and the events that lead up to Jesus's crucifixtion and resurrection.
On Palm Sunday we recall Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem, riding on the back of a donkey and surrounded by people waving palm branches, from which the name of this day originates.
This Eucharist will include a procession of palms and the Cathedral Choir will sing the story of Jesus' passion in place of a sermon.
