Come and meet Dean Anthony, at our new quarterly opportunity for members of the Cathedral community to meet over a cup of tea or coffee.

The first of these will take place on Sunday 20 March in Becket Hall from 10:10am to 10:40am (after #PompeySundays) and in the Bishop Kenneth Room at 12:15pm (after the Sung Eucharist).

Our Vision and Strategy speaks of embedding ‘learning and feedback in all that we do’, and this is a chance to offer comments, questions and ideas relating to any aspect of Cathedral life.

Our Lenten pilgrimage starts on Ash Wednesday with services of music and readings - as well as traditional 'ashing' with the sign of the Cross, signifying repentance and reminding us of our mortality and our need of God.

Ash Wednesday Eucharist with Sung Litany and Imposition of Ashes.

Join us to mark the start of Lent in this said service of Communion. During the service, you will be invited to receive the sign of the cross in ash on your forehead as a symbol of penitence with music from our Lay Clerks and Choral Scholars.
