In the unique surroundings of Portsmouth Cathedral’s Nave, enjoy familiar favourites such as Nimrod, Jerusalem and the National Anthem plus many more with a royal theme.

About the Orchestra

The Solent Symphony Orchestra has an important and unique musical role within the city of Portsmouth. The orchestra is constantly seeking new ways to broaden the experience of both its players and the audience.

Many new works by local composers have been premiered by the orchestra alongside classics of the symphony orchestra repertoire. In 2002 Paul Weston became our composer-in-residence.
