The annual City Service celebrates the City, its citizens and community life. The preacher at this year’s service will be The Venerable Jenny Rowley, Archdeacon of Portsdown. This year the service will again include Holy Communion, the Cathedral’s regular Sunday morning worship.
The choir will be singing the Portsmouth Jazz Mass composed by William Todd in 2018. Sadly, it will not be possible for the congregation to join in with the singing of the hymns inside the building under the current Government guidelines. A final hymn may be sung outside dependent on weather.
Face masks are required to be worn when inside the Cathedral. Masks are available at the Cathedral if required.
