Candlelit Compline is a short, peaceful service of Night Prayer held during Lent, offering a moment of stillness to end the day. Set in the tranquil atmosphere of the Cathedral, the service invites worshippers to reflect on the day's journey, with prayers, psalms, and a quiet sense of calm. Part of our Lent, Holy Week, and Easter services at Portsmouth Cathedral, Compline provides an opportunity to pause and pray as we journey through the season of Lent towards the hope of Easter.
