Stations of the Cross - Tenebrae

‘Tenebrae’ sung by the Choral Scholars: a traditional service of plainsong and stillness for the start of Holy Week.

Candles are extinguished to remind us of the darkness and desolation that Jesus experienced on the Cross. We await the light and joy of the Resurrection that we will share at Easter.

Part of our series of six Stations of the Cross, where the journey of Jesus to his Crucifixion and Resurrection is interpreted with music, words, art, space, prayer and stillness.
