Portsmouth Cathedral warmly welcomes you to join us for the Choral Evensong Service of Thanksgiving for the life of HRH Prince Philip.
This service will be open to the public and available to livestream from home, providing an opportunity for the City and Diocese of Portsmouth to pay our respects to HRH Prince Philip, and to give thanks to God for his life. It will be a service of Choral Evensong at which the Bishop will preach, and the Dean will officiate.
The service will be attended by the Lord Mayor, and by other invited civic, naval, and religious leaders. It will replace our scheduled 5.30pm service of Evening Prayer.
* this service will be live streamed on Facebook. The camera will be focused on the clergy, but individual worshippers may have their image broadcast on the Cathedral’s Facebook page.
