Bishop Jonathan blesses oils for use in parishes and leads ministers from across the Diocese, in a renewal of their commitment to serve God and their neighbours.
On Maundy Thursday we welcome Bishop Jonathan and clergy from around the Diocese of Portsmouth for the annual Chrism Eucharist when they renew the vows made at their Ordination to serve God and their neighbour.
During the service, as is tradition, Bishop Jonathan will bless the holy oils that the clergy in their ministry over the coming years.
