On Saturday 1st July, Bishop Jonathan will license three new lay ministers in our cathedral, at a service starting at 11am. They would also appreciate your prayers as they prepare for their new roles. They are:
Vicky Evans (Reader, St Andrew’s, Hayling Island)
Chris Nicol (Reader, Portsmouth Cathedral)
Katie Moritz (pioneer lay minister, St Faith’s, Lee-on-the-Solent)
Following our weekly lunchtime concert, Lunchtime Live (1:10pm - 2pm) we will be exploring Portsmouth Cathedral’s Organ, and how this instrument not only plays a key part in todays worship but also to the architecture of the building.
