The revolutionary approach, which is sometimes thought of as the separatist approach, takes the view that worldly or secular powers cannot be part of the solution to the problems of public life. They offer a vision of an alternate public life, the Church, which stands as a beacon or witness to society suggesting an alternate ordering of society and set of public principles.

On the feast of the Baptism of Christ, we renew our own baptismal vows and at the end of the service all are invited to join in as we process to the seafront for the traditional Blessing of the Waters at the start of the new year (and come in for a swim if you choose!)
