In 2020, many experienced a Christmas where so many of the ways we traditionally mark the season were denied. This year, Portsmouth Cathedral welcomes all to celebrate this extraordinary time of the year, from heart-warming events to traditional carol services.

BOOKING FOR SERVICES

We want to ensure everyone feels as safe and comfortable as possible when joining us, so we’ll once again be providing booking for some of our most popular Christmas services. If you’re unable to book, or simply would like to join us on the day, a number of spaces will continue to be available on the door.

Join our traditional Christmas celebration, with special readings and carols sung by the Cathedral Choir. Set amongst beautiful candlelit surroundings, this service is open to all to attend as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

The service on 22 Dec will be BSL interpreted.

The service on 24 Dec will also include the Blessing of the Crib.

Services on Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22*, Thursday 23, Friday 24 December at 6:30pm

All are welcome to join for this service at the Cathedral.
